About Us
Someshwar Science College has been established in year 2007 with B.Sc. Course. In year 2009 B.Sc.(Computer Science) course has been started to facilitate IT education to the students. In year 2011 the M.Sc.( Organic Chemistry) course has been started as the demand from society and Students. Now about 400 students are admitted to the college to sculpture their career in their fields.
The college located in Someshwarnagar (Waghalwadi) West part of Baramati Tehsil in area about 5 acres. College has been furnished with new building about 36,000 sqft. About 33 teaching staff and 6 Non-teaching staff were working to accomplish the fulfilment man power. About 13 staff qualified NET, SET exams. About six staff pursuing their Ph.D. from reputed universities. All staff having teaching experience good academic record. Now College is in the Process of NAAC accreditation for 1st Cycle and we are confident that we will successfully defend this NAAC cycle. College has good discipline and security to all students so that about 70% admissions were of girls students.
We are serving the students to develop the skills of students in their discipline.
